Yvette Royal built Anastasia’s Crown out of love, and out of a belief that people can change. Advanced esthetic care and real human support sit side by side here, so every woman can work toward her healthiest, most confident self.

Our story
Every Crown Has a Story
The name Anastasia means “to be resurrected.” We usually hear that word in a spiritual sense, but bodies and mindsets can be renewed too. As new habits and honest self care take hold, something shifts, and it can feel a lot like earning a crown.
This studio is a tribute to my beloved niece, Anastasia Renee Pender, who passed through this world for a brief moment in May 1997. On the day she was laid to rest, butterflies surrounded our family. They became our symbol of transformation, hope, and promises fulfilled.
So this salon is her crown. My hope is simple: that every woman who walks through these doors leaves with more confidence than she arrived with.

Our mission
We want you to leave feeling like the most beautiful version of yourself. The studio sits at 5410 Centre Ave in Shadyside, convenient to the East End neighborhoods as well as Oakland and Bloomfield.
Our cellulite work uses Endermologie, a safe, noninvasive and genuinely relaxing treatment that massages the skin. Several things contribute to what clients see, including better microcirculation in the deeper skin and fat layers, trapped fluid moving out, oxygenated blood coming in, and hardened tissue softening. The technology is trademarked, and Endermologie holds nine FDA cleared claims, including reducing the measurements of the area treated.
Our spa history
A promise, then a practice
1997
Anastasia Renee Pender passes through this world briefly in May. On the day of her burial there are butterflies everywhere, and they became the symbol we still carry.
May 2016
Anastasia's Crown opens as a boutique esthetics studio, named for the promise her life represented.
2018
The service menu grows well past its original scope as clients keep coming back for skin, waxing and lash work.
2019
LPG Endermologie becomes our signature service, performed on genuine LPG equipment by a licensed practitioner.
2020
Nutrition coaching joins the studio, so clients can pair inside work with body work.
2023
Over twelve core services and hundreds of treatment protocols, alongside national waxing certification classes.
